The Matra Aero Club (MAC) was established in October 2006 by a group of enthusiastic sailplane owners in order to promote the preservation, restoration and flying of Old timer and Classic gliders. As we are young in the “business” our most important goal is to establish long term relationship and cooperation with similar associations. We are planning to organize our first Old timer meeting in summer 2009 at our airport Gyöngyös-Pipishegy (LHGY). 

Full membership is available to those who own an Old timer category glider and would like to join us and fly at our beautiful airport. Associate membership is available to those who wish to support the activities of the club. Donations towards the operational costs of the club are always gratefully respected.
